PPM 우익수

Peter Paul & Mary 의 여러 히트곡 중에서 유독 정감이 가는 노래.
오랜만에 다시 들어보았는데, 역시 그 감동이 그대로 있다.

노래를 들으면 가사에서 묘사하는 장면이 그대로 머리속에서 연출되는 곡이다.
운동에 소질이 없는 아이가 동네 아이들 야구팀에 끼어 가장 공이 안날아오는 우익수를 자진헤서 맡아 (할일이 없으니) 민들레 자라는 것만 보다가 .....

갑자기 날아온 공을 어떨결에 잡아내 그날의 히어로가 되어 으쓱해하는 모습을 그렸다.  그 장면만 상상하면 눈시울이 살짝 뜨거워지는 순간이된다.

이 곡은 비디오보단 그냥 듣는 것이 감성을 느끼기에 더 좋다.
